Hello fellow friends,
I’ll
explain you the mindset behind this site in a few lines.
Last summer, I’ve read the Zombie Survival Guide, a very nice book
that made me paranoid about a future zombie invasion. And because of my
terrible tangeant that drives me to get nuts about certains topics, I’ve
become, at least for a few weeks (maybe 8) a full-on zombie survivalist. I’ve
even learn to shoot arrows for Christ’s sake.
It didn’t help that most of my friends
decide to start watching the Walking dead
series at the exact same time. So, after a couple of days basically spent
watching gory things and soapy dialogues, I was totally obsessed. I spent some
times explaining to people why the characters of Walking Dead wouldn’t survive that long (and yes, even Daryl, that
guy uses the same arrows for hunting and killing). Although you probably
understand the very deep importance of that subject, this was not normal
behaviour[1].
But why people get so hooked on zombies ?
After my obsession slowly start to fade away, I want to understand the craze,
and why is it so popular now ?

At first, I’ve wanted to write a book about
it. But a book comes with certains restrictions :
1- It has to touch to a
unique subject or a unique way to talk about a subject
Before I could knew what I will write
about, I had to read (almost) every book and see every documentaries about
zombies.
2- A book needs to be kind-of
perfect before thinking about publishing it
This blog allow me to make mistakes while
making sure things gets done. And since, breaking news, I’m not a native
English speaker, tons a little mistakes will filled those pages.
3- Publishing a book takes
time
I want to talk about the zombie craze. And
especially BECAUSE it’s a craze. I have to write quiclky if I don’t want to
miss the boat.
4- Publising takes a
publisher
And finding one takes time, see point
number three. Also, I’m deadly scared of calling a publisher. Scares me more
than zombies.
5- You can’t put videos in a
book
Duh !
So, for all those reasons, here I am,
writing this blog, and here you are, reading it, because you probably are
obsessed with zombies too. Or you just happens to be on this site. I don’t know
what kind of weird porn you were looking for.
